Kirei Pink Lens Review {Klenspop Sponsored}~

Hi everyone!
I hope January has been treating you well~ Sorry about not writing for a little while- I started up classes again a few weeks ago and so it has taken me a little while to get used to things.
Today I have a circle lens review! Gosh I feel like it's been forever since I've done one of these ;^;
Today I'll be reviewing the Kirei Pink lenses, which were kindly sent to me for review by Klenspop! They're a fantastic circle lens supplier, and I highly recommend them if you're looking for a place to get lenses~
Anyways, let's start!

I'm really quite fond of the design of the 'kirei' lens series! I've reviewed them before in the blue colourway, and I think they're just so striking! The dark band around the outside makes the lenses stand out a lot on your eyes, however they don't feel too unnatural- because of the yellowish ring on the inside, they blend quite well with my hazel eyes! The design diameter of these lenses is 14.8 mm, which isn't massive, but it's still a fairly enlarging size.
Here is how they look on my eyes~
Natural light
W/ Flash (sorry that it turned out so overexposed ;^; )

Dim room lighting
I really like that the pink shows up so well on these lenses! I originally got these because I wanted to do a Madoka Kaname cosplay, but then I realized I had no motivation to cosplay and so I ended up not doing that ;^; I still think they're very nice lenses nonetheless!
These are very comfortable as well! My eyes are quite sensitive, however I was able to wear these for a number of hours without having any discomfort.
On the whole, I'm quite happy with these lenses! I think the design is very pretty- it's striking without being too artificial, if that makes sense. I highly recommend these, whether you're looking to use them for a cosplay, or just for everyday wear when you want to enhance your eyes~
Here are a few more photos of them on, just so you get the general idea of how they look~

Thank you for reading!
Bye-bye~

2016 in Review and 2017 Resolutions~

Hi everyone!
Happy New Year~
I'm writing this post a bit later than I intended- I just got lazy haha.
Today I thought I'd review the resolutions from last year, write about if I met them or not, and set some new ones for this upcoming year~
Let's start!

2016's Resolutions

No. 1: Go Cruelty Free
There were several parts to this resolution- I wanted to buy from companies that were cruelty free, eat less meat, and I wanted to stop supporting companies that used sweatshop labor. I'd say I was quite successful with this, for the most part! I honestly haven't purchased that much makeup/skincare this year, and I've been shopping a lot at LUSH- they pride themselves in being cruelty free so I think they're a great company to support (and they have fantastic skin care). I don't eat meat frequently- I'm by no means a vegetarian, but in general I do prefer my meals to not have meat unless it's something quite special, if that makes sense.
As for shopping, this year the vast majority of clothing I purchased was second hand! Whether it was from a thrift store, vintage store, or through apps like depop, a lot of things I've bought have been previously owned. I think buying second hand is a great way to get unique items, and you end up spending less as well~ I've also been selling a lot of my clothes as well, so if you're interested, here's the link to my depop~
Overall I think I did really well with this resolution! Of course there's always room for improvement, but I'm quite satisfied with the progress I've made~

No. 2: Cosplay!
Lol this one was a complete failure- I realized cosplay just isn't something I'm dedicated to- and that's okay~

No. 3: Lose Weight
Another resolution which was quite a success~ I've lost about 30 lbs, so I'm quite content~ Not much to say about this ;u;

No. 4: Work More on my YouTube
Throughout the year I really neglected my YouTube, but recently I've been posting more often so I guess it's okay?

2017's Resolutions

Honestly, there really isn't anything specific I want for this upcoming year ;u; I just want to keep going on the same track I've been going on with my previous resolutions. More weight loss and more work on my YouTube~

Thank you for reading!
I hope you have a happy 2017~
What are your resolutions for this year?

Valfre Luna and Bowie Choker Reviews~

Long time no see!
Sorry for not writing in a while- school was taking up a lot of time and I didn't have much motivation for writing anything at all...
In any case though, I hope you're all enjoying the holiday season, and that you had a nice Christmas if you celebrated it yesterday
Today I thought I'd write a small review of some chokers I got from Valfre! They have a really nice selection of vegan leather chokers (and they also carry clothes and phone cases and that sort of thing). If I remember correctly, their stuff is handmade in California, which is really nice (correct me if I'm wrong though).
Anyways, let's start!

The chokers came in individual boxes which are quite sturdy. This is really useful because it makes storage much easier~

I was worried that they would have an artificial/plasticky scent (as fake leather often does in my experience), but these were perfectly fine~

Bowie Choker (TAN) - Valfre - 1

I thought this choker was really cute because of the large bow~ It comes in pink and black as well, but I figured that the nude one would be the most versatile and less garish (since it's already a fairly attention-drawing piece). It closes on snaps, which allows you to fit it to your neck size more or less.

I think this choker is really cute~ It's quite comfortable too! I honestly have no complaints about it- it's really well made and doesn't seem like it'll be falling apart any time soon.
Here's a worn photo of it~

I highly recommend this choker if you're looking  for something cute, but not too obviously cute~

And now for the next choker, which is my favourite of the two

Luna Choker (WHITE) - Valfre - 1

I was really drawn to this choker because of the huge pom-pom~ I really love everything that's fluffy and I thought that this would be such a cute piece for winter.

Unlike the Bowie choker, this one closes on a buckle, which I really like because it feels much more secure that way. The pompom is also incredibly soft- if it wasn't stated that this was a vegan choker, I'd definitely think that it was real fur.
The construction on this one is also great~On the whole I really like this one because it goes with a lot of my outfits, so I can wear it frequently!

Overall I'm really pleased with the quality of Valfre chokers- they're really cute and well made, and I highly recommend them if you're looking for something unique and nice quality!

My Favourite Cutesy Animes~

もしもし!
Today I thought I'd write a casual post about some of my favorite cutesy animes~
When I first got into anime sometime in middle school/the beginning of high school, I only watched really serious dark action shows, but my preferences have completely switched ;u;
Now I definitely prefer the more casual, relaxed and cute slice-of-life shows! So I thought I'd share some of my favorites in case any of you were looking for something new to watch~

1. Is the Order a Rabbit?

'Is the Order a Rabbit' is a show about high school girls who work in various cafes~ I find the art style to be really cute and all of the characters are adorable in their own unique ways ^.^ There's also lots of imagery of yummy cafe drinks and desserts which I definitely enjoy~ It's a very laid-back casual show and it's very very cute <3

2. Kiniro Mosaic
I'm currently watching this show, and I have to say, I love it so much <3
It's about a girl from England who goes to Japan as an exchange student, and the rest of the story revolves around the school life of her and her friends. Sadly it's only twelve episodes long, but it's certainly a joy to watch <3

3. Tamako Market
'Tamako Market' is about a girl who works in a mochi shop (which has a rivalry with another mochi shop that's across the street from it). She's very scatterbrained and completely oblivious to the guy who has a crush on her (he's the son of the rival mochi shop-owner). There's also fat bird who's flying around trying to find a princess for the prince of his island, which did feel a bit random, but overall this was a very cute show <3

4. K-On!

I honestly wasn't expecting to like this show when I first started it, but it really drew me in!
It's about high school girls who start a 'light-music club', and it turned out to be really cute and it made me smile a lot ^.^ The songs that they play are also not too bad~

I think that's it for the cute animes that I've watched so far! I'm sort of new to this genre, but I thought I'd feature my favorites <3
Anyways, thank you for reading!
Have you seen any of these? What are your favorite animes?

TT Black-1 Lens Review {Klenspop Sponsored}~

Hi everyone!
Happy (late) Halloween~
Today I'll be reviewing a pair of lenses kindly sent to me for review by the online store Klenspop. They have a lovely selection of lenses and I highly recommend them~
Anyway, let's get started!

The lenses I'm reviewing today are the TT Black-1 Lenses. They're currently $18 USD on the Klenspop site, and have a graphic diameter of 13.6mm (which will look quite natural on most eyes).
TT BLACK-1
The stock photo~

Despite having a thick limbal ring, these look quite natural on my eyes, and just bring a nice amount of emphasis to them. Since the design isn't too colorful, they look pretty much the same in all lighting.
Window Lighting
Dim-ish Room Lighting

Camera Flash

I really like the emphasis these lenses give to my eyes, and the design is quite nice for everyday wear.
These aren't the most comfortable of my lenses however, and they dry out my eyes quite quickly. If you carry eye drops this shouldn't be much of a problem, but I don't really carry drops with me so it's not the most convenient for me. I like the design, but would only be able to wear them comfortably for a couple of hours (which is probably a good thing, because you're not supposed to wear circle lenses for a very long time).
Here are more photos of how the lenses look~ (I did try slightly more Halloween-ish makeup haha)

(and some photos of the outfit- I made the skirt myself~)

On the whole these are nice lenses, I just wouldn't wear them for a very long time.
Thank you for reading!
Have a lovely day~

StyleWe Autumn Dolly Clothing~

Hi cuties~
I hope you're all doing well!
A little while ago I talked about the website StyleWe, and today I thought I'd make another post showcasing some cute items they have~
Where I live, the weather doesn't really change with the seasons, but I still thought I'd show some cute items for the fall and winter.
Let's start!

Pink Cotton Blend 3/4 Sleeve Midi Dress
I think this dress would look cute with a light jacket thrown over it~ It's a fairly elegant looking piece, and I really like the silhouette of it. Pink isn't really an autumnal color, but I just love everything pink hehe~

White Chiffon Long Sleeve Sweet Plain Stand Collar Tunic
This tunic-style shirt is a really unique piece that I think would be perfect for layering in a sort of cult-party-kei coordinate, or something like that. It seems to be really loose and cozy, which is what I look for in comfy autumn clothes~

Navy Blue Floral-embroidered A-line Sweet Crew Neck Tunic
Another tunic style top~ I think the embroidery is really cute on this one- I love floral embroidery on absolutely everything. This would look cute with a thick pair of colorful tights and boots maybe! I really like dresses that are this style because you can layer them with skirts and get a super cute layered look c:

Black Color-block Plain Shift Long Sleeve Mini Dress
I love love love dresses and shirts with big collars, so this dress really grabbed my attention~ The silhouette is quite simple, but the collar isn't just a plain collar so it's more interesting than your typical black and white dress. It's casual enough for every day wear, but it doesn't look too lazy.

Black Crew Neck Elegant Plain Sweater
This style of shirt seems to be really popular lately- it's quite elegant looking and would work quite well with a lot of different styles of skirt. It's a basic, versatile piece~

Wine Red Shift Bow Cape
Lastly is this super cute doll-like cape! I really love the color and the bow on the neckline- it's just so perfect for autumn and the holiday season. This is definitely a great way to doll up any outfit~

Thank you for reading!
Which item was your favorite? And what's your favorite thing to wear in autumn?
