DressGal Review {Sponsored}~

Hello everybunny!
Sorry for my short leave of absence- I just started university, so it's been quite hectic, but I'm slowly getting the hang of things.
Anyways, today's review is sponsored by DressGal!
DressGal is an online shop that sells mostly clothing, and at very affordable prices! Their selection is massive- there are 50 pages of dresses for example. When they contacted me asking if I wanted to collaborate with them, I gladly accepted~
So, I thought I'd share with you the items that I got, as well as other aspects of DressGal.
Let's start!

The first item (and my favorite) are these High Stockings~
The stock image
One can never have too many pairs of knee high socks, so I decided to get these~ When they arrived, I was surprised to see that they were from a Japanese company called TutuAnna!
TutuAnna is a relatively well known company, and they make good, high-quality socks, so I was happy to see them ^.^

These socks are really really soft, and the lace is nice quality- it's not at all scratchy (I believe it's cotton lace). The socks are thick and well-made, so I don't think you should worry about them tearing anytime soon.
The lace is also attached really securely~

They're about knee-high on me~
Socks with bunny shoes!
These socks are really really great, and given that the price is only $3, it's very worth it. Places like Urban Outfitters also sell socks, but they're like $16 and feel quite flimsy, so I think that these are a fantastic alternative.

Next item!
This dress is really quite, and I think it'd be perfect for the summer.
It doesn't quite look like the stock photo, just with the way that the draping is done in the back, but it's still really cute!
Sorry about the wrinkles ;~;
The material is really soft, and the inside is lined, but there's a bit of a problem...
The back is completely sheer
There's sort of a curtain of fabric that covers that area, but sometimes when you walk it flips and flaps, which might give someone the opportunity to see your panties *gasp*
I just suggest wearing skin-toned underwear so that it doesn't show through, or just safety shorts ^.^ Or you could wear this over a swimsuit
Or wear it however you like and not care what people think~
It's a very comfy dress, and I love love love how the back looks <3

It makes me feel like a mythical goddess~
Also, hello dorm room bed
Overall this is a really cute summer dress~
And now, last item!
Asymmetric Hem Dress
I got this dress in the biggest size that they had, because I wanted it to be something really loose that I could wear around my dorm room, or in the fall/winter time. It is indeed very large xD

It doesn't look quite the same as the stock photo- perhaps because it's so large, however it's cute nonetheless (and looks much better worn than it does when laid out on my bed)
I think this dress would be super cute with some knee high socks, a scarf, cute booties, and a nice warm cup of tea~
It's super duper comfortable- like it's something that I could wear to sleep if I wanted to.

So that ends the review of the items, now a review of DressGal itself.

Customer Service
Whenever I sent an email, I always got a reply back very quickly~ Angela, the worker I spoke to, was friendly in all her messages, which was nice ^.^ I have nothing bad to say about their customer service.

Shipping
The items arrived in about two weeks, and were shipped via China-Post. The shipping cost varies hoewver- you have to pay for each item's shipping. Naturally, something like a pair of socks has a smaller shipping cost than a pair of shoes, but shipping is compounded in any case, so be aware of that.

Anyways, that's about it!
Thank you once again to DressGal for sending me these items for review~ Be sure to check them out!

Thanks for reading~

Cloud 9 Whitening Cream Review {Really Weird Texture!}~

Helloooooo~
Today I have a makeup review for you all. I feel like it's been forever since I've done one, so sorry about that ;~;
I'll be reviewing a cream I found out about via Airi's blog (which you should totally visit because her posts are awesome)!

Anyways, let's start!

The cream is the "Cloud 9 Blanc de White" cream, and I got it off of Jolse (because that's where I get most of my cosmetics). This was reasonably priced, around $20, and there's 50 mL of product in the container.
The packaging of this product is gorgeous, both the outer box and the actual jar. I've gotten rid of the box, but I love love love having the jar on display. Here are a bunch of photos of the packaging, just in case you're curious~

I like how the box is a cube... sorta. It's a bit of a squashed cube, but that's okay! ^.^
The bottom of the package- I can't read it because it's Korean, and a bit of the label is torn off, but maybe it's useful to some of you! ^.^
How the box looks when you open it (minus cute sheep).
The product even comes with a little spatula, which is great for both sanitary reasons and for picking up the weirdly textured product (you'll see what I mean soon)

I love the shape of the spoon too, it's so curvy and elegant~
Here's the jar!
Holographic seal on the side of the jar
More Korean I can't understand...
This expires in 2018 though- but I think I'll use it up before then xD
The jar is made of an interesting material- I can't tell if it's dense plastic or glass, but it's probably plastic. In any case though, it's not a cheap kind of plastic, it's definitely good quality. The fact that the entire jar is matte also makes it seem more sophisticated~

Now the interesting part of this cream is the fact that it's no ordinary cream... it's texture is really interesting!

As you can see from the photos, it's really weird textured, and not at all smooth. To me it seems a bit like whipped cream you added a bit of gelatin to, and this is how it started to gelatinize, but it's not fully gelatin yet. Something like that, in any case. Despite this weird texture, it spreads out quite easily and quickly on the skin- it's just a bit difficult to pick up a decent amount without the spatula.

Before I go on to show you guys swatches of the product and how it worked on my skin, let me explain more about this cream. It's supposed to be a makeup base, so it has short term whitening properties. In addition to that though, it's supposed to have long term whitening effects, as well as wrinkle prevention/mollification.
Now, I've only been using this cream for a few weeks, but I would have to say my skin looks brighter! And the immediate result when you apply the cream is super apparent- I took a bunch of photos to show what I mean~

First, on my hand.
Bare hand
Cream when first smudged on
Spread out a little bit
Fully blended in
Bright! But I'm sure most of us aren't whitening our hands daily with someewhat pricey face cream, so here are photos on my face (excuse the lack of makeup in most of them).

Bare Skin
Bare skin! Not too dull, but not too bright either
Not too great

1/2 Bare, 1/2 Single Layer
The left side has no cream, the right side has a single layer. There's a bit of a difference, but it's not massive.
I can see a bit of progress!

1/2 Bare, 1/2 Double Layer
The difference is much more apparent here!
I think it actually made some of my acne scars disappear a little!

And of course, under makeup, since what's the point of a makeup base if you have no makeup on top?

It's not perfect, but I think my skin definitely looks more bright.
While I can't comment very well on the creams long term effects, in the short term, it's definitely fantastic. I applied two layers on the photos for the sake of the creams effects appearing on camera, but the cream looks just as good with only one layer (and that way, you're using less, with is both better for the longevity of the cream, and probably it's better for your skin too).

A few more comments about the cream~
It has a pleasant smell, quite flowers, but it's not too overpowering and it fades away quickly. It's sort of a generic cream smell, nothing too weird and out there.

It's not sticky at all, and it dries pretty quickly, so you can easily move on to the next steps of your makeup routine.

An interesting thing I found about this cream was that it had a bit of a pore-covering effect for me. My skin looked much smoother after using this and my BB cream on top. It's not moisturizing, but it does smooth out my skin, and doesn't make my skin look dry (usually matte creams have a tendency to clump around your bits of dry skin and make your skin look even drier than normal, but I didn't see that with this cream).

Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase, and I'll definitely be repurchasing it in the future~
Thanks for reading- ciao!
