Hi! Happy October!
Today I thought I'd do something a bit different from my usual beauty/fashion type of post
I don't believe I've talked about it very much on here, but I love art. I love art museums, and I love creating art. I started drawing intensively the summer before high school, and I slowly got better and better (before that I wasn't really good). So, I thought today I'd share with you some of the art that I've done in the past
I hope you guys don't mind the different type of post!
Anyways... let's start~
I mostly work in three mediums, so I'll just categorize the art like that c:
"Autorretrato en Kahlo"
This and the next one are from a series I'm working on~
The bamboo in the background is watercolor, but the majority is marker~
"The Passing Days"
I really like the colors in this one
And for fun... Mami Tomoe fanart! I gave this as a Christmas present to one of my friends >u<
Marker is definitely the medium that I use the most. I'm not the best at it... but it is the most fun.
"Flight from Death"
This is definitely my pride and joy... I really like how it turned out (even though the green butterfly is lopsided)
The gills on the centre mushroom were a huge pain to draw, but I think it turned out quite accurate
"A Skull Study"
This took forever, but that's cause it's really big (maybe 3.5 feet long?)
Done from a photo
This was one of my first charcoal pieces
I think I'm most skilled at charcoal, but it just takes so long and is so messy that I don't do it that much >u<
My first acrylic painting!
"Self Portrait with Flowers"
My first oil painting! There are definitely some things that could be better about it... but overall I don't think it's too bad.
Anyway... I hope you guys liked the post!
Tell me if you're interested in more art updates in the future.
Let me know what you think! >///u///<
